Where we work / Western Cape
IT outsourcing and managed IT in Cape Town.
Scout Outsource provides IT outsourcing, managed IT support, cloud infrastructure, Microsoft licensing, cybersecurity, voice and connectivity to medium and enterprise businesses in Cape Town and across the Western Cape, from Century City and the Foreshore through the northern suburbs to Stellenbosch and Somerset West, delivered on site and remotely.

Century City, the Foreshore, Claremont, the Bellville and Tyger Valley corridor, out to Somerset West and Stellenbosch. One contract, one escalation path, and the same price as anywhere else in the country.

Three estates in one metro
Cape Town is not one commercial district, it is three with very different needs. Financial services and professional firms sit in the Foreshore, Claremont and Century City. The northern corridor through Bellville, Tyger Valley, Durbanville and Brackenfell carries shared service centres and back office at scale. Montague Gardens, Paarden Eiland, Epping and Airport Industria are light industrial and distribution. A licensing and support model that suits one of them is usually wrong for the other two.
Software companies buy differently
The Cape Town and Stellenbosch technology cluster already has engineers, which changes what outsourcing is for. These clients are rarely buying someone to think for them. They are buying the parts they should not be spending their own people on: licensing commercials, endpoint and identity security, the helpdesk for everyone who is not an engineer, and the connectivity underneath. We scope to that rather than selling a managed service that duplicates a team you already pay for.
Continuity is a local habit
Western Cape businesses have had more practice than most at operating through things outside their control, and it shows in what they ask for first. Backup that has actually been restored, a second connectivity path that fails over without someone driving in, and a recovery plan that has been tested rather than written. We would rather prove those three on your estate than talk about them.
Common questions about Cape Town
Do you provide IT support in Cape Town?
Yes. Century City, the Foreshore, the V&A Waterfront, Woodstock, Claremont, Newlands and Westlake are all inside our normal Western Cape delivery area, with on-site attendance and a 24/7 helpdesk behind it.
Do you cover Bellville, Durbanville and the northern suburbs?
Yes, including Tyger Valley, Brackenfell, Durbanville, Montague Gardens, Paarden Eiland, Epping and Airport Industria, as well as Somerset West and Stellenbosch.
Does Scout Outsource have an office in Cape Town?
We are registered in KwaZulu-Natal and deliver in the Western Cape on site and remotely. Engineers attend the premises when the work needs hands on it, the helpdesk runs 24/7 regardless, and you are not paying rent on a Cape Town address through your invoice.
Is the price different because we are in Cape Town?
No. Delivery is on site and remotely across all nine provinces and the province you are in does not change what you get or what it costs. The guarantee to beat any Microsoft licensing and voice pricing applies the same way here.
