Backup & Data Protection
Druva
Druva is a fully managed SaaS backup and data protection platform that provides air-gapped, immutable backup for SaaS applications, endpoints, cloud workloads and data centre systems without any backup hardware or software to maintain.
- Microsoft 365
- Endpoints
- Ransomware
Because the Druva Resilience Cloud is genuinely SaaS, there is no backup server to patch, no media to rotate and no capacity planning. Backups are air-gapped and immutable, which is the part that matters when ransomware reaches the environment, because the attacker cannot encrypt a copy they cannot reach. Druva is the only 100% SaaS vendor positioned as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for its category, and it carries a $10M Data Resiliency Guarantee.
What Druva does
- SaaS application backup
- Protection for Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and Salesforce, covering the data Microsoft's own shared responsibility model leaves with you.
- Endpoint and server backup
- Laptops, servers and data centre workloads with global deduplication, so remote devices are protected without saturating the link.
- Air-gapped immutable recovery
- Backups sit outside your network in a form that cannot be altered or deleted, with automated malware scanning and sandbox recovery before you restore.
- Curated Recovery
- Rebuilds a clean recovery point from across multiple backups, so you are not forced to choose between losing data and restoring the infection.
- Flexible cloud storage and pricing
- Store on AWS or Azure for cost or compliance reasons, with consumption-based pricing that moves backup from capital to operating expenditure.
Who Druva is for
Organisations running Microsoft 365 without a third-party backup, businesses wanting to retire ageing backup hardware, and anyone whose ransomware recovery plan has never actually been tested.
Common questions
Do I need to back up Microsoft 365 separately?
Yes. Microsoft operates a shared responsibility model: they guarantee the service, you remain responsible for your data. Retention policies and the recycle bin are not backup, and they will not help after a ransomware event or a malicious deletion.
How does Druva protect backups from ransomware?
Backups are air-gapped outside your network and immutable, so they cannot be encrypted or deleted by an attacker who has compromised your environment. Restores are malware-scanned before they go back.
Does Druva need backup hardware?
No. It is fully managed SaaS, so there is no backup server, no backup software to patch and no storage to size. Data is held on AWS or Azure.
