SASE & Cloud Security

Netskope

Netskope is a SASE and Security Service Edge platform that secures how users reach the web, cloud applications and private apps, combining CASB, secure web gateway, zero trust network access, cloud firewall and data loss prevention in one cloud-delivered service.

  • SSE
  • CASB
  • ZTNA

Netskope replaces the backhaul-everything-to-the-datacentre model that legacy VPNs and appliances force on you. One policy follows the user across every location and device. It is recognised as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for SASE Platforms and for Security Service Edge. Scout designs the policy model and runs the migration from whatever you have now.

What Netskope does

Netskope One SSE
Consolidates secure access to web, cloud services and private apps from any location into a single cloud-delivered security service.
CASB and SSPM
Cloud Access Security Broker for sanctioned and shadow IT, plus SaaS Security Posture Management to prevent configuration drift across your SaaS estate.
Private Access (ZTNA)
Per-application access to private apps from anywhere, combining zero trust network access with endpoint SD-WAN and removing the need for a flat-network VPN.
Next Gen SWG and Cloud Firewall
Inline web and cloud threat protection, firewall-as-a-service for egress traffic, and remote browser isolation for risky or uncategorised sites.
Data Security, DLP and DSPM
Machine-learning data loss prevention across cloud, web, email, private apps and devices, with data security posture management across cloud, on-premises and hybrid.

Who Netskope is for

Cloud-first and hybrid organisations outgrowing VPN concentrators and appliance-based web filtering, and any business that needs consistent policy for staff working outside the office.

Common questions

What is the difference between SASE and SSE?

SSE is the security half: secure web gateway, CASB, ZTNA and DLP delivered from the cloud. SASE is SSE plus the networking half, principally SD-WAN. Netskope provides both, so you can adopt SSE first and add SD-WAN later.

Can Netskope replace our VPN?

Yes. Netskope One Private Access provides zero trust network access per application, so users reach only the applications they are entitled to instead of being placed on the corporate network.

Does Netskope see shadow IT?

Yes. The CASB component discovers and risk-scores unsanctioned cloud applications already in use, which is normally the first thing an assessment turns up.
